Leading the Way in Ohio Ethical Adoptions

For families in Ohio hoping to adopt a child and pregnant women searching for support, advice, and options, Choosing Hope Adoptions connects families through open, ethical adoption.

About Choosing Hope Adoptions

Choosing Hope Adoptions is a full-service, non-profit adoption agency licensed in the state of Ohio. We have office locations in Dayton, Cincinnati, and Springfield, but we serve the entire state of Ohio and will travel throughout the state to meet birth mothers and prospective adoptive families.

We offer no-cost, confidential support to pregnant women who need information and advice when deciding whether to choose adoption, abortion, or parenting their child. For women who choose one of our carefully screened families for adoption, we help with prenatal care, legal services pertaining to the adoption, and financial assistance for medical and living expenses.

Since we are a non-profit organization, we hold fundraisers to help cover our administrative costs and keep adoption fees as low as possible for our adoptive families.

Who Are We?

We are passionate advocates for adoption.

Many of us are parents of biological and adopted children, some of us have given birth and placed a child for adoption, and some of us are adoptees. Like our birth mothers and adoptive families, we come from diverse backgrounds. Several of us have degrees in social work, while others have studied music, psychology, nursing, and finance.

We understand that everyone in the adoption process—the birth mothers, children, and adoptive families—have unique needs, dreams, and life experiences that they bring to the table. It is our calling to serve everyone involved in the adoption process with compassion and respect.

Our backgrounds, along with our deep and abiding faith, guide us as we help expecting mothers and hopeful families navigate the often complicated path toward adoption.

Ethical Adoption Benefits Everyone

Many agencies in Ohio provide open adoption services: what makes ethical adoption different?

If you’re an expecting mother wondering what to do, an ethical agency will offer counsel and information without pressuring you into making a decision you’re not comfortable with. An ethical agency will also ensure that you are cared for long after you give birth and place your child with its adoptive family.

For hopeful families trying to adopt a child, an ethical agency provides complete transparency about the process and goes the extra mile to build healthy relationships between the birth family and the adoptive family.

Adoption is Not a Transaction: It’s a Lifelong Relationship

Whether you’re a birth mother or an adoptive family, our love and care continue long after a judge has finalized the adoption.

Birth mothers get access to our birth mom support group. And we’re always here when you need parenting support or just want to visit and catch up on everything that’s been happening in your life.

Let us know how we can serve you.
