We’ll go over all of your available options, including adoption, terminating the pregnancy, or trying to parent your child. Although we are an adoption agency, we’ll make sure you have the information and contact numbers that you need, should you choose to keep your baby or have an abortion.

Placing Your Child for Adoption

Once you select a family, our team will work with you and the adoptive parents to create an adoption plan. Items that are part of an adoption plan include:

• How much time you’ll spend with your baby after you give birth; and
• How often you’ll be in contact with the adoptive family after your child is placed and the adoption is finalized

Services for Birth Mothers

One of our most solemn duties as an ethical adoption agency is to ensure that birth mothers receive the support and care necessary to have a healthy pregnancy and successful adoption.

In addition to covering all medical expenses for labor and delivery, the state of Ohio authorizes us to provide up to $3,000 in additional funds to birth mothers. You can use that money for housing and utilities, groceries, and prenatal nutrition. You will also have access to counseling throughout your pregnancy, and our staff is available by phone or text 24/7.

Choosing Hope also covers your adoption-related legal fees. You and your child’s biological father will also be provided with legal counsel to ensure that every party is informed of their rights.

After your child is placed in its adoptive home, you will receive ongoing support through our Lifetime Healing Certified monthly birth mom support group.
